Dungarvan is a lively town on the southern coast of Ireland, a welcoming, English-speaking and simply unrepeatable European country for its landscape and spectacular sky. Dungarvan has a beautiful harbor and is immersed in a fascinating context between mountains and sea. It has only 9,000 inhabitants, so it has all the characteristics of a safe and easy to explore country, it has a lot of countryside in the surrounding area and numerous services in the center – there are endless pharmacies and hairdressers, a shopping center with shops, doctors’ surgeries, stationery stores … and also a cinema and a McDonald’s!

King John’s Castle with its free exhibition is an attraction for everyone and a place for shows and lessons, then there is a museum that is more unique than rare and several churches with the typical Irish cemetery that surrounds them and makes them romantic and ancient.

During the winter it is a picturesque, nice town and – as they say here – “vibrant!”, while in summer it is filled with initiatives, festivals (the Food Festival of the month is increasingly popular and populated) and activities that attract tourists, families and students from all parts of the globe – also thanks to the Waterford GreenWay opened a few years ago, which with its 46 kilometers connects it with the capital of the region and which offers breathtaking views to all those who travel on foot, in bicycle or skates.

The town of Dungarvan is also well connected to the main Irish cities (two and a half hours from Dublin, one hour from Cork, half an hour from Waterford), easily accessible by various means.
